FERRATUM WORLD RX OF RĪGA PUBLIC TIMETABLE
This weekend, the Biķernieki circuit will host a double header event for the 2021 FIA World Rallycross Championship, Ferratum World RX of Rīga. Over two days, the top rallycross drivers will have incredible battles in each heat, with this being the final visit to Latvia with internal combustion engines.
As part of the FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) event, local and visiting fans will be able to see two events in one weekend, with a Ferratum World RX of Rīga winner being determined both on Saturday, September 18, and on Sunday, September 19. In addition to that, the FIA European Rallycross Championship (Euro RX1) event will be contested by two Latvian competitors, Jānis Baumanis and Edijs Ošs.
On Saturday, spectators will be allowed to enter the Biķernieki circuit from 09:00. The Euro RX and World RX free practice will begin at 10:30, with the first qualifying races beginning at 12:00. World RX competitors will complete three qualifying rounds before the semi-finals and finals on 17:00, to determine the winner of round four of the championship. Meanwhile, the Euro RX1 drivers will have their first two qualifying races on Saturday.
Sunday morning, the Biķernieki circuit will again be opened for spectators from 09:00 in the morning, with free practice set to begin at 10:00. Qualifying races of the fifth round of World RX will begin at 11:00, while the Euro RX1 competitors will finalize their intermediate classification results with Q3 and Q4 taking place during the day. The Euro RX1 semi-finals will begin after World RX Q3 which is set for 15:00.
Fastest drivers of round five will be determined starting from 17:00, with World RX semi-finals and the final, which will be split by the Euro RX1 final.
All Ferratum World RX of Rīga races will be available on the new RX+ platform, while all the finals from Saturday and Sunday will also be shown free of charge on Red Bull TV.
